5. Field Structure Engineer

 

Duration = 6 months with potential extension to 12 months

 

Description of the main tasks:

1.    Find solutions on site to adapt design of structural steel to foundation modifications or modified piping routing

2.    Calculation notes for piping supports and handling devices

3.    Checking of structural steel drawings and MTOs performed by drafting team

4.    Coordination with Construction team and Engineering team

 

Main standards:BS 5950, BS CP 3, part V

 

Main skills:

1.    English fluent speaking and writing (mandatory)

2.    Structural steel calculation (mandatory)

3.    Connection design knowledge (mandatory)

4.    Autodesk structural analysis - formerly Robot   (mandatory)

5.    Staadpro (++)

6.    Field engineering experience (++)

7.    Industrial onshore plant at execution phase (+)

8.    Oil and gas industry (+)

9.    Underground networks (+)

 

Terms & conditions:

a.    Probationary Period – 3 Months

6. Field Structure Designer (for field engineering works)

 

Duration = 6 months with potential extension to 12 months

 

Description of the main tasks:

1.    Prepares and issue structural steel drawings and associated MTO’s

2.    Prepares sketches for modifications on structures to be erected.

3.    Prepares and issue structural steel supports drawings

 

Main standards: BS 5950

 

Main skills:

1.    English fluent speaking and writing (mandatory)

2.    Structural steel knowledge including connection design (mandatory)

3.    Tekla (mandatory)

4.    Autocad (++)

5.    Field engineering experience (++)

6.    Industrial onshore plant at execution phase (++)

7.    Oil and gas industry (+)

 

Terms & conditions:

a.    Location – Port Harcourt Camp site

b.    Probationary Period – 3 Months

c.    Notice period – 30 Days

d.    Working days -  6 days/week

e.    Working hours -  10 hours/day

f.     Rotation –  90/21

g.    Accommodation – camp

h.   Salary –   150 USD per day (if engineer)--- 125 USD (rate for non-engineer)

b.    Duration – 12 Months (renewable)

c.    Probationary Period – 3 Months

e.    Working days -  6 days/week

f.     Working hours -  10 hours/day

g.    Rotation –  90/21

h.    Accommodation – camp

i.     Salary –  135 USD per day (final rate subject to mgt approval)

j.     Living allowance – NA full board is provided

 

Ideal candidate must have experience in primavera software and familiar in activities in a fabrication yard.
